If any mob breaks off from my group I'll use Taunt on him and (If he doesn't have full Sunder Armor) I'll put full Sunder Armor on him (If he does have full Sunder Armor) I'll use Shield Slam on him and stay on him for aouple sonds. After all Sunder Armor is on I...
Midsummer Fire Festival 2009 (June 21 - July 5)
2009-10-17 00:00:00
Midsummer is here! World of Warcraft's Midsummer Fire Festival begins at 4:00am server time on June 21 and runs til 4:00am server time on July 5, and this year's festivities are better than ever! Acquire flaming threads, a sweet tabard, a fiery companion and more! Complete achievements to earn a new player title - Horde players can obtain the title 'Flame Keeper' and Alliance players can obtain the title 'Flame Warden.' There are bonfires located in each major capital city, which are surrounded by questgivers, Midsummer Celebrants, and a Midsummer Supplier or Midsummer Merchant who sells items in exchange for (Item #23247). There are 'Commoner' NPCs of all races (including goblins!) that can be found lingering around the major cities and will give you a short (though unnecessary) quest to turn in at one of the main bonfire camps. The main Midsummer Festival bonfire camps can be found at the following locations: Alliance: Darnassus, Ironforge, Stormwind or The Exodar Horde: Orgrimmar, Silvermoon City, Thunder Bluff or Undercity Table of Contents Quests Festival Camp Quests Torch Quests Twilight Hammer Quests Bonfire Quests Torches, Torches, Torches Twilight Whatzits? A-who-ne? Festival Bonfires Stealing The Festival Fire Quick F.A.Q. (Including festival items!) Achievements Quests Festival Camp Quests (Quest #11971) or (Quest #11970) Start: "Commoner" NPCs in major cities. End: Festival Talespinner or Festival Loremaster These quests are simply "breadcrumb" quests given by flavor NPCs in major cities to alert you to the Festival's start and to lead you to the Festival Fire camps. Awards a single (Item #23247), and is turned in at the Festival Talespinner or Festival Loremaster, who are found in their appropriate faction major cities (or Shattrath). This quest is not required, and the NPC will give the next quest regardless of its completion. (Quest #11966) or (Quest #11964) Start: Festival Talespinner or Festival Loremaster End: Summer Scorchling A quick and easy quest, simply talk to the NPC located near a Festival Fire (locations here) in any major city to accept the quest and receive the (Item #35725), then walk outside the city and turn it in at a Summer Scorchling located near a festival fire. You can complete this quest at basically any of your faction's fires, it doesn't matter which one. The quest is ridiculously easy and awards only single (Item #23247), but the short event following completion is quite a treat. Torch Quests The torch quests are detailed below. (Quest #11922) or (Quest ...

particularly creative, then you might want to go with an artistic outlook on tailoring. After all, seeing as in World of Warcraft we see lots of beautiful armor all over the place, you've got to wonder exactly who designed it. If it's made of cloth, then clearly someone must have woven it and stitched it right? Clothes don't make themselves, after all. Tailors do. And a tailor is just what you are. It's o...

Many of the most famous rogues outside of the Warcraft setting have been nuanced and exciting characters. Bilbo Baggins, the Prince of Persia, and James Bond, could all be reimagined as rogues if they had existed in Azeroth instead of their own settings. As an Alliance rogue, you have a certain amount of freedom to borrow from other settings, or from the real world, since the Alliance races tend to be more similar to heroes of other stories we've heard before. To a certain extent, Blizzard has already based its Alliance rogue guilds on stories from other settings, and left some aspects of these institutions rather vague. There is certainly enough room for roleplayers to fill in a bit of the blanks with their own creative inspiration. The only danger is that it could be easy to overdo it and descending into Mary-Sueism: one ought to feel free to reach for a bit of the flavor of James Bond, for instance, without ever believing your character is the single best secret agent Stormwind could ever have. SI:7 and all them other roguish humans The largest intelligence arm of the Alliance seems based in many ways on the fame and popularity of James Bond, actually. Britain famously established 6 sections of its ...
