maybe. if youre assasination with infectious poisons, it might be more of an issue, cause then youd have to keep abolish up full time on yourself as well as the target thanks to the constat reapplication and redispelling of each poison. and of course, it could still get dispelled off (and more classes have dispels now what with shield slam being baseline for thing about me is that apparently it’s very hard to tell when I’m drunk. I got questioned about the lack of defense rating while tanking H GunDrak last night. I played dumb at first as I was didn’t think they were serious. I linked SotF after a bit and they stopped questioning. Not sure if they understood why I linked it but the questions stopped. Then the last boss dropped my tank legs but some damn enhancement shaman rolled and won them….. edit: Bucket heads… ;p You funny. Edited, Dec 18th 2008 1:38pm by Horsemouth-Day light savings is for fools. No offense, but you really need to do some reading up on the changes that have come with WLK. The sticky (and tons of existing threads) has plenty of info on the relative importance of stats, and patch notes will catch you up on the significant changes to our (and every) class. Most important stats to stack first are those that keep you out of the graveyard: Stamina, Armor and Agility. Then those that help you keep mobs pissed off at you: Strength for AP, and Expertise and Hit to land your attacks. Our Survival of the Fittest talent gives us all the crit reduction we need (6 against a boss (+3 levels) crit chance of 5.6) so we don’t need ANY defense rating on our gear. Zip, zero, nada. Defense Rating is for bucketheads, i.e. warriors and pallies. – If ya wanna look me up and make fun of my gear and/or spec, I’m Thaytakeye, a Level 80 Furball Druid on MoonrunnerWhen raiding what stat is most important for bear tanks? So, my DPS is stuck

I’m exactly at the point where you were pre-Naxx, and I just missed 3k DPS in my first Sarth 25 man with an extremely sloppy rotation. As far as pointers go: — Your hit rating is just too low. You’re better off yanking out some of your +16 strength gems in favor of a few Rigid Autumn’s Glow. From a pure theorycraft standpoint, what you have now is superior, but in practice you need the 8. If you have a situation where you’re frozen for a period of time and timers start to fall off (the best example that I have is King Ymiron, and that’s not even a good one), then a chain of unlucky misses can really do you in. We have a strict rotation, anything you can do to make your life easier will help your DPS out. — Make sure FFF or some form of armor debuff is up. I’d imagine it is, but you didn’t mention it, so it can never hurt to be certain. — Also attempt to make sure that you’re using Shred with OoC procs, this is a lot easier said than done but should provide a slight increase. — There are several useful programs and tools out there to help you with gear upgrades, particuarly Rawr and Toskk’s spreadsheet on the Druid Wiki. Right now, if you were to change both your gems on your chest piece to +16 hit, you’ll gain about 0.8 hit chance for what Rawr says will be an unbuffed difference of ~3-5 DPS I can’t stress enough how important this minor difference will be versus raid bosses. If you have the money, a Titanium Impact Band and Band of the Kirin Tor are some pretty substantial improvements over what you currently have. A lot of the gear you have now is actually either BiS or close to it for 10 man raids (according to Rawr), so I’m afraid there’s not much else to say here. Except get a new helm You also shouldn’t be able to get anywhere near 7k DPS right now, that’s top-end feral druids on ideal fights with an almost perfect rotation and probably full BiS gear. As a side note: Last I checked, some of the number crunching on EJ was showing that Agility is going to rise back to the top of our desired stats come 3.1, primarily because Rip and Rake will soon be able to crit. I recommend saving up and hoarding some +16 agility gems before the prices rise. One of these days I plan on starting an all-around Druid guide. My experience has been that there’s just not enough easily accessible information about us out there, it’s all bits and pieces from a large variety of sources. Experienced sources, and it certainly pays off in the long run, but it can be difficult. Icecrown Radiance and the bear tank

{ No Comment }

It’s actually called Chill of the Throne. In Sunwell Plateau they added a buff called Sunwell Radiance to help alleviate the insane scaling tank avoidance was doing in the previous tiers. This way they didn’t have to make the sunwell bosses themselves have obscene stats, they just globally nerfed tanks. They’re doing it again in Icecrown Citadel because tanks are already breaching 50 dodge in T9 gear, with 50k health pools. That can only go up further as people get gear from IC bosses on their way to – FFXI Ranawaran – WoWForgive my ignorance but just what IS “Icecrown Radiance”? I tried looking it up on google, the offical forums, wowwiki and, wowhead. I couldn’t find anything spesific on it so I’m a bit lvl 80 Feral Druid Critmypants lvl 80 Tauren Warrior Quote:this is more about the player than the tools. Chopsticks may be the fastest way to eat rice, but if you can’t use them, you just get frustrated and make a huge mess. Everyone hates you if U TYP3 LIK DES AL TEH TYME SO,PLZ DOAN’T TYP LIK THS THX!!1Do you think this will perhaps make Blood Draining preferable on our weapons as opposed to – FFXI Ranawaran – WoWIts fine. The impact will affect us less. Mainly as we only fight Dodge DRs and this will cause less Agi stacking. Also we have better Stam and Armor scaling which is where we will be going after this change. I will switch many agi/stam gems to all stam. I will maybe use some stam chants over agi. My dodge will not shift as much. My armor will drop as will crit but… The increased stam will more than make up for it. That and new gear with better armor that we scale better with, much like the stam. If any thing this radiance will maybe force Blizz to nerf our scaling. So calm down and don’t worry. Icecrown Radiance is fine. -Day light savings is for fools.

Druid and Cataclysm

Got it from mmo-champion: Quote:If you are a Balance druid or Elemental shaman: You will still share gear with Restoration druids and shaman. Your gear will have Spirit on it. It won?? have Hit on it. You will have a talent that converts Spirit to Hit. We will adjust talents accordingly so that you want about as much Spirit as, say, a warlock wants Hit. Hit on rings and other such gear will still benefit you. Raid buffs will no longer boost Spirit, so you shouldn?? find yourself unexpectedly over the Hit cap because of buffs.

Hunters are WORTHLESS!!!

al we’re good for? yea maybe ur right…. maybe its better if now theres one last dsp class to help u run instances Mr. Tank. so now its just u and the effin healer and maybe a mage if u can find one…. dude this is the dumbest @in thread ive ever seen in my life. we dps in parties and save ur orcish ass from getting wtfpwned by priests, mages, and locks. we give our raids and groups tons of help. i cant take sides on warriors or hunters cuz i have both but this is definately a dumb post. wouldnt rogues do the same thing (the ninja part)? do i hear anything about rogues???? besides i go to AV all the time on my dwarf w/o a pet. YES WITH NO PET!!! cuz im not @in beastmastery! u gotta learn to survive with us cuz we are one of the strongest class on the game unless we’re fighting a rogue, lock, or mage. judging by how ur and orc ur probably just mad cuz i fired my gun up ur ass. can u say Troll Fire Mage) Terenas (Bigplaya~41 Undead Subtlety Rogue) Terenas (??d??~70 Blood Elf Destruction Warlock) Terenas Whoa, that red flag your waving around that says “I just got wtfpwned by a hunter” is HUGE! Maybe you should spend more time learning how to deal with them then wishing them outta existence. I believe Ludacris said it best when he said “blow it out your ass”. The only thing hunters are good at is complaining about how someone took a weapon they could have used or how a warrior just shoved his boot up their a-hole. Warcraft would be the perfect game if BLIZZARD would just nerf out the hunters entirely. The only thing hunters need is a good bow and thats it. No armor, rings, or trinkets because they stand in the back and shoot arrows, and when their pet dies they run away. Hunters are the most WORTHLESS class in the game.

Since your pet only gets exp from monsters you get exp from (green or above, 62+ if you are lvl 70), soloing isn’t an option (unless you kite all day). Only thing possible as far as I can tell would be to just group up for instances and have your pet sit there and do nothing.Ok, recent posts have got me thinking. I am wondering how hard it would be to get a lvl 29 black boar up to level 70. That being said, how would one best do it??-Wheels Darigraz to North wrote:I is not liking this idea of stepping in offices, the office of you is sounds like a Hottopic where all the transvestite makeup men hangs out and talks about havings sex with they fall out boy. Blehmore survival questions

{ No Comment }

I’m not a heavy Survival investor, but Entrapment is one of my favorite talents. Entrapment + Clever Traps + Frost Trap is incredibly effective, especially since you can keep the effect up permanently (trap will last 39 seconds with CT and cooldown is still 30 seconds). As long as the enemy isn’t immune, you can continually circle around the trap, keeping them in the effect. -(Back in Retirement) Draka: Sayis Level 70 Night Elf Hunter 48/0/13 ~Karil Level 70 Elder Nightsaber Seiyra Level 65 Human Warrior 5/0/51 Hunter’s Guide, From A Beast Master’s Perspective, Burning Crusade 2.1.0I’m looking at a survival build to work into as I’m levelling (99 PvE, as I’m on a softie server). The main things I wanted to get from survival/marks is: 1. HUGE crit chance, seeing as how I’m used to BM and I’ll have GFtT. 2. Greatly improved traps, as I don’t use em often enough so by getting the talents I’ll guilt myself into learning them. 3. The ability to get out of melee quick if I accidently pull. So what I’m wondering is how good, for PvE, are: Slay Entrapment Imp Wing Clip Thrill of the Hunt EW
