Ah, so this is what that guy in my guild was ranting about. No idea where he got his “quiver haste will not be baseline for hunters but will be a mandatory deep MM talent” spiel though. I agree with KDenelor, this is still an improvement. I can’t wait to use my herbalism bag somewhere other than in a bank slot! The Razza

{ No Comment }

I need help in taming this beast. Petopia has not been updated to reflect this is not a standard chimera – while in its arena setting, it has some extra magical powers (most annoyingly, Summon Player). The Razza gets around the usual Hunter trick of Freezing Trap + Beast Taming + range by Summoning you to it. I got my pretty blood-elf face mashed into the arena floor twice, before I believed this was happening. Okay, so I read the forums a little more, and someone said something to the effect that if you closed the distance to just outside of aggro, then you could use Hunter Trick One because it was inside the range of Summon. This was true – The Razza now flew over to me and mashed my pretty blood-elf face into the floor without Summoning. What most annoyed me is that the Freezing Trap did not trigger (the four times I tried this), and simply dissipated (apparently clocking out). WTF? I’m now baffled as to what to try next. The Hunter I’m using is level 70, armored and weaponed mostly with greens, BM specialty 51/5/5. The stated specs on The Razza show it’s a 60 elite chimaera, which means I shoulda pwned this beast two days ago when I started this goofy project. The forums I’ve read were apparently written before The Razza was tameable, so the posts, where they have information, are all aimed at killing it, with no information on taming. I also went out and tamed a chimera in the wild, just to verify Freezing Trap would work on a target flying at normal monster approach (just like it has worked all the other times…)

For profession, it kinda depends on sp. Tailoring is rommended for a healing priest, and many people suggest it for shadow priests as well. For a shadow priest, Herbalism bomes *very* important for the huge number ofonsumables you’ll go through. For a healing priest, a good sond profession is ehanting (thoughombined with tailoring tends to be pretty hard to make money until high levels), herbalism (some money, some use), or mining (lots of money, very little use to you until you’re very high level).for horde: blood elfs:os of darkonsumption, it’s 2 free heals at theost of a random buff for alliae: dranaie: freakish mana regeneration buff AND fear ward. dwarfs are also good for fearward and blessing og light (instant heal) for a alliae alt humans are best imo, 5% extra spirit rox 10% rep gain is your friend and instant selth heal, and feed bk is a lot better that shadow gaurdPriest’s Me of Aane Wrath: +1-3 Aane Spell Damage what were they thinking? “I know, lets make one for all those priests who only uses starshards”Well, that’s just one of those random suffix items that are all over the ple. Besides, druidsan use one-handed mes, so it might add like…a point to moonfire. But yeah, basally vendordisehanter garbage. Right jerome, I agree, I have no trouble keeping up with the other hybrids. But I have to take a ton of bksplash damage to do it, and they have noomparable penalty.

away from softies so I have more time to

{ No Comment }

Heres how I tank, I take the group slightly away from softies so I have more time to rover them if they break off from me. I put a Sunder Armor on them one at a time as in I’ll Sunder Armor one mob then I’ll target another and then another then bk to the first mob and so on… If any mob breaks off from my group I’ll use Taunt on him and (If he doesn’t have full Sunder Armor) I’ll put full Sunder Armor on him (If he does have full Sunder Armor) I’ll use Shield Slam on him and stay on him for aouple sonds. After all Sunder Armor is on I’ll begin spamming Revenge whenever Ian, Shield Slam and Detestation, I’ll keep swihing between targets to give an equal amount of threat to all mobs. If I loseontrol of all mobs I’ll use Last Stand and thenhallenging Shout. Some safety ts, I don’t like to be PL bause then I’M the one giving the orders. I like following orders so if we fail its not nessarily my fault. I always ask the PL to mark the targets I’m tanking or mark all targets I’m not tanking so I don’t getonfused AND if the rest of the group messes up with the sheep or something like that theyan’t yell at me saying “WHY DIDN’T YOU GET THAT GUY” or something like that. Boss fights I love bause there SO easy for me bause I reallyan’t mess up. Tell your group not to attk until you have three or more Sunder Armors on that way you won’t lose aggro in the start of the fight. Spam Shield Slam, Detestation and Revenge whenever youan. If you lose aggro use Taunt don’t use it anytime before, Taunt is only to be used to regain aggro if you somehow lose it bause if you use it to gain aggro from the start when it dispels all threat will be lost. Go into Prot sp. and max out all traits that don’t apply to “Lowersost of rage” worldofwaraftominfoclass…20123031051 Heres how I’m spced.

While EleEnh sp wise, is

{ No Comment }

Its really all about VERSITILITY While EleEnh sp wise, is the most amount of dmg a Shaman dump on a target at various ranges, its still 1 dimentional. From a PvP persptive, thisan be fun, but builds like this are usually dubbed “Suide” builds, sie you have very little survivability thru healing, so its really not IF your going to die, its when…and in that time span…how many ppl are you going to take with you?! In BG PVP, this isn’t really a problem…usually ends up something like kill 2-3 ppl, die, rerez….rinse and repeat. Hey if you like that sorta thing…thenool. In Arena PVP…not so good, sie its sudden death anyhow (noome bk rerezing), and players at that lvl tend to know everylasses bag of trks. That being said, Sham nuking and melee, kinda lk lusterompared to pure dpslass. Exp: Who do you think would win a PyroblastFire Bolt vs Lightning bolt trade off? Does a double WFrit on a Warrior always take them out in 1-2 Shots? The Answer is, generally speaking…Sham’s will loose to trade off blows like that, so don’t get into them, thats what thoughslasses are TRYING to get you into. Even if you sp’d a pure elem or pure enh, that type of dmg trade of againstlasses that spialize in that given range WILL win 90% of the time. A Hybird Sham of elem and enh won’t fair any better usually. Personally, I’m not a fan of these builds, sie youan only do one type of dmg at a time…an’t melee andast a bolt at the same time, and spamming shks isostly on the MP. NOW, if they lowered the spost of EM or SS to something like a 15 point sp instead of 21 (And that aint ever going to happen :p)…THEN eleenh or enhele might be on to something But the one BIG thing that pure dpslasses usually lk is…THE ABILITY TO HEAL! Most of us know that a well timed potion in aluh situation (like OOM) is just pure GOLD, and usually saves your butt more often than not. In BG’s War’san go on a killing spree, if they have a healthy supply of potions on them heesy tt, and ratherostly…but it works ) But, in a arena…THEYAN’T USE POTIONS! So thnally, to kill a pure dpslass…u just need to do the 10k or whatever HP amount they have. They on the other hand, have to kill your 8-10k HP-ish…PLUS 20k-ish you get from healing yourself So yea, after theyan oggle and brag about the ft they did more dmg over theourse of the fight…they still lost….but theyan brag about it So far I just talked about Sham from a PvP aspt. This being said…I pointed out what eleenh (or ve versa) bring to a situation…is very limited. If thats how you like to play, then who am I to say different But, just wanna tell the truth of the pro’s andons of the build. The Reason why a LOT of Sham’s usually put some points into Resto (personally I always get NS…its just really too good to pass up), is for Versitility, for every situation in the GAME! Sham’s are gear dependant HEAVY!! Arguably more gear dependant heavy than any otherlass! Weanhange ouromplete playing style simply byhanging our gear, in manyases…more so than even ushanging our sp. Big down side is that to be “good” this means we have toarry around about 2omplete sets of gear, regardless of sp (with maybe the eeption of Resto’s). This being said, if you tried to do a eleenh hybird….your gonig to be gimping yourself in one asp of your dmg, bause there isn’t any gear thatomes with BOTH goodaster stats AND melee stats. This being said, you might shk yourself to extly how mhaster dmg you might do if your a Enh wearing Elem gear, or a Resto wearing Elem gear (This was my prefered setup for PVP), or how mhuring youan do with Resto gear on a Enh (Been able to MH thru Hero’s now, when I do this). Will u be able to out do a pure sp spialized in that situation…u shouldn’t…but you do give it a really good run for the money. To sum up somethings, pk a playing style that suites you, and go all out in it, then work on gear that fits EVERY asp of the game to add to your versitility…and get good at doing all of it Thats the life of a Shaman
